I’m so excited to be sharing images from the final wedding of our 2016 season! Steve & I had a blast with Carly & Dave! They are just so adorable (and so gorgeous!), the weather was perfect, they booked such lovely venues, and overall, made our jobs so easy & fun! We were also lucky enough to celebrate with three fab City Lights couples 🙂 I started with the ladies at the Hotel @ the Lafayette for prep, where Dave met us for an incredibly sweet “first touch”. They didn’t want to see each other before their ceremony, but wanted a moment together. We found a great curved wall, where they stretched their hands until they met each other. You can just feel their joy and excitement all over again in those shots!
Afterwards, we headed downstairs for their ceremony inside the Crystal Ballroom. It was full of smiles, and tears. We then headed off for bridal party shots outside, at Delaware Park and the Butler Mansion before settling in at the Foundry for a wild party (and a few fun shots in their hotel suite!) Their reception was full of fun elements like handmade centerpieces, a cigar & whiskey bar, candles everywhere, even a delivery of Mighty Tacos! They ended the night with a sparkler send-off in the courtyard. It was perfect, from start to finish, and we loved being there to capture it!
It’s crazy to think I won’t be sharing another wedding for a few months! I’m a little sad my 2016 season is over; what a beautiful year it was! Every wedding was a dream & I felt such a connection with my couples. It reminded me, over and over again, how fortunate I am to have this job. Thank you to all of my clients who made this year so great! Can’t wait to see what next season brings!
