I was so excited with Kimberly & Anu asked me to be their wedding photographer; and doubly-excited when they asked if I would also photograph their Hindu ceremony a few days before their wedding. I’ve never shot a ceremony like this before, and I loved getting to witness everything about it! As a visual person, I was (of course) immediately enthralled by the colors, textures and shine of this day, from the outfits to the setting. It was all just so lovely! As a wedding photographer, it was so interesting to see a full ceremony from another culture as well. The ceremony had many parts to it, all of which were explained for those of us that were newbies to the whole thing. It was so sweet and special to see this aspect of their lives and see their cultures and families together throughout a wild, wedding weekend!
