Caitlin & Bryan had a wedding like none other. They told me right away that they wanted their day to be different & I, of course, loved hearing this! One of the first big differences was that they skipped a traditional bridal party, and instead brought 22 members of their families along for the trolley ride. There were so many adorable children at this wedding, including two of their own, and it was so sweet to see Dylan & Abigail as such a big part of the day.
We started with a first look, right on their front porch, which is just about the sweetest & most personal spot to do it. We headed over to Forest Lawn, City Hall & Niagara Square for their photos.The wind howled and the rain poured during our bridal party portraits, but C&B were such troopers, and carried on with smiles on their faces. They even ditched the umbrellas for most of the shots & played in the rain with us.
Their outdoor ceremony at Lafayette Square was moved inside their banquet room at the Hotel @ The Lafayette, which was just as great, as the Greenhouse Room was decorated perfectly, and was a warm, cozy escape from the bitter, wet weather. It was a great backdrop for their vows and big, wild party, which was equally unique! During cocktail hour, they had mentalist Sebastian Black perform for all the guests. Everyone was enchanted & it was such a fun addition to the day! Moving Music took over, before passing the stage off to the Little Mountain Band, which carried the party into the night. There was no first dance, no cake cut, no traditional events really; just a big, wonderful party crafted by Bryan & Caitlin to celebrate with everyone they love. How fun!
