One month ago today, we celebrated Alex & Josh inside one of Buffalo’s most gorgeous venues, The Twentieth Century Club! A&J had a sweet and simple ceremony upstairs, full of laughter and happy tears, followed by a wild party in the historic ballroom. This building has endless nooks for portraits, and we could have shot there for another few hours, easily! Every wedding we photograph has at least one moment that we will always hold dear… My favorite from A&J’s day, was right after they were wed and walked the aisle, he stopped, and pulled her into him, just holding her as they took a minute to soak it all in. It was so emotional, and so lovely to witness. Weddings truly are a whirlwind from start to finish, and we LOVE when we have couple who make time to be present, and absorb it all.

Thank you, A&J, for sharing your day with us, and allowing us to document these amazing memories for you!

When I first met Emily & Eli over Skype, they told me a bit of their love story, and their plans for a simple and joy-filled wedding at a family friend’s farmhouse, and I knew I really, really HAD to be their wedding photographer! Their day was everything they dreamt it would be, and I simply loved being a small part of it. Meet Jami & Matt (AND their sweet pups, Leo & Jax!) As big Buffalovers, we wanted to fill to their e-session with classic city spots. We started in their Elmwood Village neighborhood, and took a walk to their regular date night spot, The Place. Afterwards, we headed downtown to visit some of their favorite murals around the Theater District and capture a few rooftop views overlooking the city. I love that they included their Frenchies in this shoot, and places that are special to them!

Set in the backyard of their home, with red roses galore and complete with a horse-drawn carriage, Heather & Roger’s wedding was something out of a fairytale! They had a lovely ceremony behind their barn, and danced the night away under the stars. It looked like it might storm at any moment, but instead we were gifted with a gorgeous rainbow. These two are so crazy for each other, and their property could not have been a more perfect setting for their wedding, and we loved capturing it all!

We wrapped up our summer wedding season with this sweet pair, and I am thrilled to be sharing highlights with you! Jenna & Nate planned a beautiful day, from start to finish. They were wed at their family church in Tonawanda, and the tears were flowing throughout the entire ceremony. Afterwards, we ventured to Silo City for portraits with their bridal party. This is one my favorite locations to shoot at in Buffalo; there are SO many unique backdrops, from industrial to earthy (complete with an adorable hanging swing in a meadow). We lucked out with a gorgeous couple and perfect light, so Steve & I went a little overboard shooting here… I mean, how could we not? We ended our day at O’Brien’s Sleepy Hollow for their reception, complete with fireside snuggles and s’mores. This was a perfect end to a crazy month of shooting, and we could not have asked for a sweeter couple or prettier places! Thank you, J&N, for being so lovely!!
