One month ago today, we celebrated with Marissa & Erik down in Longboat Key, Florida! I was so happy when this Buffalo couple asked me to join them down in the sunshine state for their big day, and even happier when one of my fabulous photographer friends, Stephen Gabris of ING Photography, offered to come along for the ride! We enjoyed gorgeous weather, a beautiful ceremony, and a HUGE party at Longboat Key Club with these two! Marissa thought of every detail, and the day came together perfectly, with help from her local wedding planner, Korrin of NK Productions. Enjoy Marissa & Erik’s story below :

Before their ceremony, E & M wanted to connect with each other, without spoiling the surprise of seeing each other later, so we did a “first touch”! We walked Eric up, blindfolded, and brought them to each other back-to-back. They held hands & talked for a bit before sneaking away for the ceremony. It was so sweet!
We headed over for the gorgeous beach ceremony, full of love, laughter, and a whole lotta of high-fives!
While we were capturing all of the bridal party portraits, the guests enjoyed cocktail hour on the beach at sunset, before heading over to the insanely beautiful reception area. The entire thing was magical!
Once everyone arrived, we kicked off the party! After some sweet dances, things got wild! Guests enjoyed dancing, cigars, the bonfire and s’mores bar! What a party 🙂
